vague warning signs of high blood pressure
While there are usually no symptoms associated with early stages of hypertension, some people may experience a few minor signs, including:
- headaches
- dizziness
- blurred vision
- fatigue
"We call it asthenia, this general sense of fatigue and not feeling up to your best. Maybe even feeling out of sorts," says Dr. Keith Copelin Ferdinand, M.D., chief science officer for the Association of Black Cardiologists. "We find that people with high blood pressure express what they’re feeling this way, and that it appears to be a common symptom among patients with hypertension."
