Dropping Six Dress Sizes: Elaine Kay

Elaine’s Weight Loss Diet and Workout

Elaine’s Daily Meal Plan:

Breakfast: A serving of oatmeal with raw honey and strawberry whey isolate protein for added protein.

Mid-morning snack: a scrambled egg with jalapeno peppers.

Lunch: 3 ounces chicken breast and steamed mixed vegetables.

Afternoon snack: fresh mixed fruit with 1/2 cup plain yogurt, with chocolate powder protein (similar to a chocolate pudding).

Supper: 3 ounces grilled salmon, steamed asparagus, 1/2 sweet potato, and fruit.

Drinks 80 ounces of water per day.

Elaine’s Workout:

Cardio exercise 5–6 times a week at different intensities. Her favorite activities are outdoors and include mountain biking, kayaking, and running. She strength-trains three times a week on opposite days to allow her muscles to recover.

“Everything can be modified,” she says. “If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t lift a heavy weight, lift something lighter.”
