Peggy fleming's circuit training workout
When ice skating star Peggy Fleming hits the gym, she usually spends no more than 40 minutes there but manages to get in a full-body, intense workout. Here are the exercises her trainer has her do. Take this list to your fitness center, and ask a trainer if a similar program will work for you. Be sure to have the trainer show you the proper form for each exercise.
Chest:
- Incline press
- Chest fly
- Bench press
- Pec deck fly machine
Back:
- Light-grip pull-downs
- Straight-arm cable pull-over
- Rear deltoid fly
- Seated cable row
Arms:
- Triceps extension machine
- Barbell curl
- Triceps pushdown
- Seated curl machine
Legs:
- Squat
- Bending squat
- Lying leg curl
- Seated leg extension
