Basic Merengue

Stand up straight, feet together. Then begin to march right and left. Let your hips naturally sway in time with your foot movements; your knees can turn inward a bit to let your hips sway more freely. Your arms should move naturally, the right arm going up as the left knee goes up, and the left arm going up as the right knee goes up.
