Caffeine Is OK for Your HEart

Love a little jolt with your java? So does your heart—or at least it prefers it to decaf.

A new study has found that drinking decaffeinated coffee may be harmful to heart health, most likely because the decaffeination process extracts heart-healthy flavonoids.

The study found that participants who drank decaf for three months experienced a rise in fatty acids, which can drive the production of harmful LDL cholesterol.
