Healthy cooking runs in the Family

Healthy Family recipes

Curry Dip and Vegetables
Mary Lee Chin lets her family members nibble on this while she prepares a meal.

Fish in Parchment
Mandarin orange salad goes well with this easy oven-going fish dish. Chili garlic sauce adds a spicy kick. Omit it if you'd like a milder meal.

Spice-Rubbed Pork Loin Roast
Mary Lee Chin, a spokesperson for the National Pork Board, adapted this recipe from www.otherwhitemeat.com. Friends love the spiced roast so much that Mary Lee often makes big batches of the rub and divides it into jars to share as gifts. The rub adds a tasty flavor to chicken too.

Tofu and Eggplant

Will's Pasta Primavera
Instead of creating noodle nests out of vermicelli pasta, cook 6 to 8 ounces of your favorite pasta (Will often uses bow tie pasta) and toss all the ingredients together. Other vegetable possibilities include broccoli florets, chopped tomatoes, zucchini, and peas.
